     ! Removed PutChar override. This was added along the 
       palette support, but I'm afraid we'll need to find 
       an alternative solution, as this change caused an 
       huge amount flickering on every screen update, 
       essentially nilling all screen change buffering 
       efforts.
     ; TOFIX: Solve realtime palette change in an 
              alternative way.
